Hi Delores, I am so excited you are going to get a Puppy. I love the one with the spots (the one in the upper right hand corner in the picture). My choice is “Winnie”. We all grew up in Winner so thought that would be a great name. I am following your blog and love to read your entries. Love, your sister, Bonnie

I knew I wouldn't come up with anything as creative as the one's you got. I thought of something weird like, DeMarko, both your names in it. Don't know where that came from. But doesn't quite fit that cute face. Whatever you name her, it will be appropriate. Love reading what you are doing and the pictures. Keep it up.

Georgeous little puppies. They are all so adorable maybe you should, nay maybe not a good idea. My choice for you guys would be Suzette. If it were my dog her name would be Suzie.

How about turning DeMarko around and calling her Mardee?

Sandy, I like that one better. So many good choices or will they have a better one and we all lose. ha

How cute!
Tenaya's suggestions: Scarlett, Ronia, Lindsay ... others will follow. :-)
Of course the jar of jam needs to be delivered in person!
Tenaya's favourite is the one on the right.

I had the same breed when I was a child and his name was Eno, like the old alka seltzer add, he really like to sing along to the commercial.

Hi! I told Mark today after reading the blog, but your girl is actually not one of these in the picture. She is a sister to them, but has a longer, more pyrenees-like coat. We have actually been calling her Belle. My daughter Emma is 3, and Belle is her favorite Disney princess...
Take care, and I hope she does an excellent job for you!

I like Gavarnie. The highest waterfall in the Pyrenees (mountains) is Gavarnie. You could call her Gavvy for short (though everyone would think you are saying "Gabby."

Thanks Friends for the creative names! It's going to be a difficult decision. Thank you for participating. The contest is still open so if you think of another please submit.

Did you get the new picture showing Belle with Emma that I sent Mark the other day? Can't wait for her to start her new life with you!
Take care,

We received the picture and can't wait to meet the new puppy - Emma's Belle! Your little Emma is a doll. We are still considering names... we'll send you our choice as soon as we make the decision. I feel she'll have a great life with us here.

Thank you, we think Emma is pretty amazing. You have some great names here- I like the sound of Gavvy, and like Tara. The pup we are keeping I named Tavi (after Rikki Tikki Tavi). I asked Emma today, and she still REALLY likes Belle. And, the pup does know that's what we call her, but I'm sure you could change it with no problems. =)
Everything is set for her trip tomorrow. Please give me a quick call or email and let me know that you have her. Thanks.
Take care!

Delores and Mark.
What do you think about the name "Pyr" for Pyrenees?

At least it would work for either a male or female.
